Meet
Real Estate Lover Connie Lancaster
Connie Lancaster
lives and breathes real estate. “Real estate has been a passion for many
years,” says Connie, who previously had a successful career selling cars.
“Even when I go to the mountains for vacation, I spend much of my time looking
at properties.”
After years of
investing in properties in St. Petersburg for herself, family and friends,
Connie teamed up with a longtime friend, Cynthia Serra, and they both decided to
turn their hobby into their profession. After several years in the industry
their work load warranted adding another partner. Enter Edward Sandford. As a
consultant in Chicago and a master at internet marketing for larger
international companies, Ed became the glue for the Group (he keeps “the
Ladies,” as he calls them, in order) which they are now known as “The Platinum
Group” under the umbrella of Smith & Associates Realtors, Inc on Beach Dr NE in
downtown St. Petersburg.
A resident of St.
Petersburg’s stately Old Northeast area, Connie especially loves dealing with
historic homes, condos and bungalows from Old Northeast to the beaches. She also
enjoys working with second home buyers and vacation buyers. She even sells real
estate in North Carolina, where she has a mountain home in Maggie Valley that
she rents out. The “House of Views,” as she calls the log cabin, is located
in friendly Waynesville, a popular tourist destination, in the heart of the
Smoky Mountains.
Of her business
philosophy Connie says, “We limit the number of people we work with so we can
do a great job for each one.” Most of the business comes from referrals, with
the client benefiting from the contributions made by each team member.
